Morton Steel were engaged to fabricate & install Sixteen box girders, approximately 15m long and 5.5 tonnes each and five maintenance cranes. The box girders were required to be traversed into five weirs located in Northern NSW. The project was well suited to Morton Steel as the very small tolerances and complicated weld procedures made the job QA intensive.
