In 1992, Morton Engineering Co were awarded the Structural & Mechanical package (Fabrication & Site installation) for Placer Pacific at the Kidston Gold Mine. The scope of work included;
- Fabrication & installation of structural steelwork
- Fabrication & installation of conveyor gantries
- Fabrication & installation of the screen house & GTU Tower
- Installation of drives, screens & mechanical components
