In 1994, Morton Engineering Co were awarded the Structural & Mechanical (Fabrication & Site Installation) package at Saxonvale Coal Mine for the product conveyors & the ROM Bin. The scope of work included;
- Fabrication & installation of conveyor trestles
- Fabrication & installation of conveyor gantry sections
- Fabrication & installation of GTU towers
- Fabrication & installation of all guarding
- Fabrication & installation of ROM bin structural steel and plate work
- Installation of all drives, feeders & mechanical components
